Havana and Toronto duked it out and the Metropolitanos came out victorious.
The Havana Metropolitanos beat the Toronto Juggernauts, 6-4, at Molson Park. Havana third baseman Dustin Siepker had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. Havana has a record of 35-35, placing them second in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.
The Metropolitanos got a big at-bat from catcher Andy Gonzales. For the game, Gonzales was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Havana a 2-0 lead.
"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Siepker. "I think we showed that here."
