Joe Adams victimized Los Angeles Stars hurlers, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the Western Conference record books.

In an epic hitting spree at Stars Ballpark, the Tucson catcher went downtown again and again, leading the Toros to a win, 13-5. He went 4-for-5, drove in 7 runs and scored 4 times in the historic game.

"The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it."

Joe Adams hit a solo-shot off Tadeu Carneira in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Tadeu Carneira in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ricky Minjarez in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Jason Petruska in the 9th.
