San Francisco Absorbs 7-4 Loss to Vancouver
|
With third baseman Ben Pickett leading the charge, the Vancouver Wolves defeated the San Francisco Friars, 7-4, at Fox-Chong Park. Pickett was 1 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. Victor Franco went 5 innings for Vancouver to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs. He scattered 4 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 0. His record improves to 8-2. Joe Drum, who finished 5th in the WC in saves with 19 in 2083, nailed down the save.
