|
Though he had a stellar game, Chris Hodges could not prevent his team, the Miami Cyclones, from losing, 6-5, to the Boston Greens. Hodges was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Boston occupies first place in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division at 40-29.
Boston took a 4-3 lead on Marcos Serna's 9th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Serna hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Miami pitcher Ed Rice visibly frustrated.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Serna told the Boston Observer.
