Aquas Deal Friars 5-2 Setback
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Houston Aquas and San Francisco Friars.
Behind an impressive start by Slider Brooks, Houston beat San Francisco, 5-2. In 7 innings, Brooks surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs.
Houston took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 3rd, Tadasu Tamba hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Aquas.
"I love playing this game, so you'll never see me not want to go out there and pitch," said Brooks.
With the win, the Aquas improved to 29-43.
