The Seattle Arrows did just enough to sneak past the Alaska Kodiaks, 5-4, at Power Ballpark. Seattle catcher Tom Schwartzmiller, in particular, had a standout performance. The winner was J.P. McNealy, who threw 101 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 5 hits. With the victory, the Arrows record stands at 38-35.

Schwartzmiller contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Seattle in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Schwartzmiller took a slider from Vicente Fuentes and stroked the double to center. His 5th double of the season allowed the Arrows to leap in front, 2-1.

"I put some good swings on the ball," said Schwartzmiller.
