Greens Notch 4-1 Win Versus Cyclones
|
Boston Greens starter Tom Seymour pitched well against the Miami Cyclones at Arrington Park, leading his team to a win, 4-1. Michiomi Kikuchi nailed down his 11th save. The last-place Greens now sit at 31-41.
The Greens got a big at-bat from right fielder Josh Bystrom. For the game, Bystrom went 1-2 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season gave Boston a 2-0 lead.
"Tom did a really nice job of taking the ball and giving us a chance to win the game," said Boston manager Matt Glazer.
