Destroyers Suffer 4-3 Road Loss
The Portland Dragons racked up a win at Portland Park, bumping off the San Diego Destroyers, 4-3. Bobby Edwards, who started for Portland, pitched effectively for his team. Juan Casanas nailed down his 16th save. Portland occupies 4th place in the Western Conference Eric Wise Division at 38-36.

Making an impact for the home team was Angel Llano. In the bottom of the fourth, the 24-year old center fielder had a run-scoring ground out. That made the score 4-2, Dragons.

"They were just a little bit better than us," San Diego manager Steve Alstadt said.
