The Vancouver Wolves beat the Las Vegas Aces, 6-4, at Western Coliseum. Allen Santos, who is tied for 6th in the WC in home runs with 16, starred for Vancouver. He was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. With this game in the books, Vancouver is 38-36, Las Vegas 39-34.
Vancouver used the hitting of Per Fronteira to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Wolves on top, 3-2. For the game, Fronteira had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
