Seattle Tacks 5-4 Loss on Yellowknife
The Seattle Arrows besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Yellowknife center fielder Marcos Hiciano by beating the Ravens, 5-4, at Power Ballpark. Hiciano was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Yasuhiro Katayama, the winner, is now 2-5. He struck out 6 and walked 0 over 6 innings, while allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. Xiong Loh was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 4 save opportunities.

Dong-hee Moon drove in one run for Seattle. The 23-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Quinn Topp. It was his 14th RBI of the season.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Moon told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."

The third-place Arrows go to 39-36.
