The Minneapolis Vikings downed the Seattle Arrows, 10-1, at Minneapolis Grounds. The Vikings were led by Eric Newland. Newland went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Vikings are now 50-26.

Bobby Aguinaga had a big bases-clearing double for the Vikings in the bottom of the second inning. With Minneapolis leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Ken Shearn and swatted a double to right. It was his 20th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Vikings ahead, 4-0.

"We'll need a much better effort, the next time out," said losing manager Dr. Jay Siber.
