Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Alaska Kodiaks and San Francisco Friars.
The Alaska Kodiaks beat the San Francisco Friars, 6-2, at Tundradome. Alaska right fielder Ryan McCray banged out 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. John Rochford picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 4-6.
McCray had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Kodiaks went on to win.
