Luis Collaso, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2078 draft, imposed his will on the Browns from the get-go. Relying mainly on his cutter, the left-hander spearheaded the 2-0 Miami triumph. Ricardo Riveron finished the game for Miami and earned his 9th save. The win puts the Cyclones at 37-38, while the Browns drop to 39-37.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from second baseman Storm Kennedy. For the game, Kennedy went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Miami a 2-0 lead.

"Luis threw the ball very, very well," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
