Toronto Upended by Philadelphia, 5-3
|
Philadelphia pitcher Uno Urquidez had a large part in his team beating the Toronto Juggernauts, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Rodolfo Ruiz nailed down the save. Philadelphia, now 35-43, holds down 4th place in the Eastern Conference Solano Antas Division.
Mike Rozar had a big 2-run home run for the Spectres in the bottom of the second inning. With Philadelphia leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Daniel Taylor and swatted a home run to right. It was his 5th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Spectres ahead, 3-0.
Rozar said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
