Wolves Tagged with 6-1 Loss
|
San Francisco pitcher Jon Dehmer did his part in helping his team beat the Vancouver Wolves, 6-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. San Francisco, at 37-42, holds down third place in the Western Conference Nala Forcelledo Division.
Felix Perez, who is tied for 6th in the WC in home runs with 21, took Vancouver hurler Matt Nyholm deep in the bottom of the fourth. His solo home run put the Friars on top, 1-0. In all, Perez had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
Friars manager Jeremy Cooan raved about Dehmer after the game. "I thought Jon was 'lights out.'"
