The Denver Glaciers beat the Portland Dragons, 8-6, at Mountain Dew Park. Ramon Chirino starred for Denver. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Denver's record now stands at 37-44, placing them 4th in the Western Conference Eddie Izurieta Division.
With Denver leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Chirino hit a curveball from Omar Mendez for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Glaciers ahead, 4-0.
