David Prentice could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Cincinnati Twins lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Washington Senators at The ESPN Zone. Reliever Ian Huycke picked up the win. His record improves to 8-0. David Prentice took the loss. Picking up his 21st save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Rogelio Domínguez.
Bobby Badeaux, who finished 5th in the WC in OPS with .929 in 2083, aided the Washington cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter went 3 for 4 with 3 singles.
"You can't take yourself too seriously," Badeaux told the Washington Daily. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."
Washington now sits at 43-38, while Cincinnati falls to 29-51.
