|
Philadelphia took on Maine in front of a lively crowd.
Philadelphia turned a good effort from starter Santos Lalin into a win over the Maine Lobster at Sony Field at Philadelphia. The final score was 5-1. Rodolfo Ruiz got the save, the 7th for him this season.
Brick Dickerson took Maine hurler Gerald Blackman deep in the bottom of the third. His solo home run put the Spectres on top, 2-1. In all, Dickerson had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"I had one goal in mind," said Lalin. "Keep pounding the zone."
The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Spectres.
