Portland Loses, 8-5, Despite Guilzar Exploits
Though he had a terrific game, Alex Guilzar could not prevent his team, the Portland Dragons, from absorbing a loss. Seattle won the game, 8-5. Guilzar hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. This loss makes it 7 in a row for Portland.

Seattle won the game in part because of Colin Cuyler. The right fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Arrows ahead, 4-0. For the game, Cuyler had 2 doubles and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We've got to get out of this funk," said Portland manager Greg Carpenter.
