Fans who congregated at Bison Stadium were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Havana Metropolitanos overcame a big game from Buffalo right fielder Charlie Cole to pick up a win at Bison Stadium. The final score was 5-3, Havana, in 11 innings. Cole was 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Havana reliever Marc Hoyles was the winner. His record is now 7-4. Josh Trejo took the loss. Luis Casillas recorded the save, his 2nd.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Mike Santoli? The 27-year old left fielder Santoli stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 11th inning to put Havana up, 5-3. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"Every game matters," said Havana manager Kevin Mayerhofer. "I'm really amplifying that message."

The Metropolitanos now have a record of 40-43 with the win over Buffalo.
