Left-hander Ron Gelsomino mesmerized the Tucson Toros while leading the Houston Aquas to a 5-0 victory. Houston goes to 35-49, Tucson to 35-49.

Gelsomino, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 1 hit over 7 innings for the Aquas. For the most part, Tucson hitters were simply overmatched.

"The name on the front of this uniform is all that matters to me," Gelsomino told the Houston Observer. "And padding the Houston win column."
