Shimamoto Delivers Walk-Off Win for Dragons
The Portland Dragons knocked off the Kansas City Athletics, 6-5, in 10 innings at Portland Park. Alex Guilzar hit 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. The Dragons move to 40-45 with the win, while the Athletics drop to 36-48.

Portland got a knockout punch from Shigenobu Shimamoto. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"You play a lot of one-run games," said Portland skipper Greg Carpenter, "and it seems there's one play somewhere in there that changes the game."
