Boston Wins, Short gets 4 RBI
|
The Boston Greens topped the Cincinnati Twins, 6-2, in Eastern Conference action at Arrington Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston designated hitter Trevor Short. Boston reliever Frank Ulloa picked up the win, raising his record to 4-5. David Prentice was tagged with the loss. Boston is now 46-38, Cincinnati 31-54.
In the bottom of the third, Short had a grand slam home run for Boston. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Greens on top, 4-0.
"I put some good swings on the ball," said Short.
