Minneapolis got a strong outing from Devon Jenkins as the Vikings defeated the Denver Glaciers, 5-1, at Mountain Dew Park. Minneapolis, at 43-42, holds down third place in the Western Conference Brian Boots Division.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Alex Medina came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Denver pitcher Dave Divine, he hit a 2-1 splitter for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Minneapolis on top, 3-1.

"Devon was in tempo tonight," said Minneapolis skipper Ace Cooan.
