Angels Stumble, Lose to Lobster
Maine Lobster starter Tommy Pepper pitched a strong game against the San Antonio Angels at Ballpark of Portland, leading the Lobster to victory, 8-3. The third-place Lobster go to 41-43.

The Angels had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Lobster going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 2072 Hitter of the Year Award winner Sergio Folha came to the plate. Folha hit a run-scoring double on a 2-2 cutter from San Antonio hurler Ron Trevathan. It was Folha's 21st double of the year.

"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Folha. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
