7-2 Win Makes It 7 Straight for Titans
At Mount Royal Park, the Montreal Harfangs and New York Titans were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Montreal Harfangs could not turn a fine performance from second baseman Tan Liu into a win. Instead, the New York Titans prevailed, 7-2. Liu was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. New York is 61-25 and Montreal, with the loss, 47-38.

New York used a clutch at-bat from Zahi Cobo to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Titans ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Pedal to the metal" is how New York manager Nate Beckman described his team's approach.
