Barrabi Excels in 16-8 Los Angeles Win
The Los Angeles Stars and Portland Dragons lit up the scoreboard.

The Los Angeles Stars beat the Portland Dragons, 16-8, at Portland Park. The Stars got a fine performance from right fielder Adir Barrabi, who went 2-3 with a home run and a double. He drove in 7 runs and scored once. The Stars lead the Western Conference Najera Division by 3½ games.

With Los Angeles leading 10-6 in the top of the ninth, Barrabi came up to bat against Portland pitcher Danny Monroy. Barrabi hit a fastball to left for a grand slam home run. His 11th home run of the season put the Stars on top, 14-6.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Barrabi told the Los Angeles Today.
