Kings Lose to Cyclones, 4-2
|
Miami Cyclones starter Danny Rangel turned in an exceptional performance against the Baltimore Kings at Kroger Stadium, resulting in a Miami win, 4-2. Taju Fuhuoh got credit for the save for Miami. It was his 9th of the year. The Cyclones are now 36-50, while the Kings fall to 43-44.
The Cyclones got a big at-bat from catcher Jose Neria. For the game, Neria went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season gave Miami a 2-0 lead.
"Danny doing his thing just hyped us all up," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
