Roscoe Top-Notch as Friars Stop Toros, 3-1

In a tight tilt between the San Francisco Friars and the Tucson Toros, George Roscoe was the deciding factor. The San Francisco left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The setback makes Tucson 37-50.
Roscoe was in the zone all game. He frustrated Tucson hitters while giving the Friars 7 innings of quality work. Roscoe threw 88 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
