The Washington Senators took on the Boston Greens at Arrington Park.

The Washington Senators defeated the Boston Greens, 10-4, in part because of center fielder Hector Hernandez. Hernandez was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Senators. The Senators now have a record of 46-42.

In the top of the second, Washington second baseman Anaximander McKay had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, McKay stroked a 2-run single to right-center. It made the score 4-1, Washington. For the game, he went 1-4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said Washington manager Nate Strauman. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."
