Joyee Cameron, who is tied for 9th in the EC in strikeouts with 99, imposed his will on the Arrows from the get-go. Relying mainly on his cutter, the left-hander spearheaded the 1-0 Havana triumph. Marc Hoyles earned the save, his 5th. Havana is now 43-44, while Seattle is 32-56.

It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Cameron, who tallied 7 strikeouts in 6 innings while allowing just 2 hits. Cameron, who leads the EC with a 1.56 ERA, goes to 10-1 on the year with 99 strikeouts.

"Joyee pitched the ball pretty freaking great," said Havana manager Kevin Mayerhofer.
