Arrows Stick Metropolitanos with 4-0 Loss

The Seattle Arrows downed the Havana Metropolitanos, 4-0, at Estadio Latinoamericano. Stellar pitching by Fai Kuang had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. The winning pitcher was Kuang, now 1-0. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. The Arrows are now 33-56, while the Metropolitanos fall to 43-45.
Seattle used a timely hit from Cristovão Alvelo to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arrows ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
"I made good pitches, kept the ball out of the middle of the plate for the most part," said Kuang.
