Cyclones Lose 5-3 Decision to Baltimore
Baltimore picked up a win at Kroger Stadium, bumping off the Miami Cyclones, 5-3. Pitcher Nestor Cantu was a major reason the Kings emerged victorious. Baltimore reliever Nestor Cantu got the win, raising his record to 7-8. Anton Rochambeau was tagged with the loss. Ocean Mendoza earned his 19th save, after closing out the game.

The Kings got a big at-bat from center fielder Marcos Galarraga. For the game, Galarraga went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Baltimore a 2-0 lead.

"That's what good pitchers do," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter. "They find a way."

The loss makes Miami 45-42.
