A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Las Vegas Aces and Philadelphia Spectres.

The Las Vegas Aces topped the Philadelphia Spectres, 11-0, in Western Conference action at Sony Field at Philadelphia. The game was highlighted by the performance of Las Vegas designated hitter Mike Bak. Las Vegas goes to 45-44, Philadelphia to 41-48.

Scott Flynn had a big bases-clearing double for the Aces in the top of the first inning. With Las Vegas leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from 26-year old left-handed pitcher Mike Colunga and swatted a double to right. It was his 26th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aces ahead, 4-0.

"Good pitching and timely hitting is a recipe for success," said Flynn.
