The performance of Shane Ausmus proved critical in helping Miami beat Baltimore, 11-5. The Cyclones catcher was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Nees van Santen got credit for the win, improving to 2-4. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2 innings.
