Glaciers Squelch Toros Offense in Shutout Win
Dunieski Vazquez, who finished 3rd in the EC in ERA with 2.68 in 2069, pitched well, but the Tucson Toros still fell short, losing, 4-0, to the Denver Glaciers at Aetna Stadium. Jorge Aguilar, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. Picking up the save was Jeremy Lanham. He's now 6 for 9 in save chances.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ian Sabre? The Denver designated hitter had a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Glaciers on top, 1-0. For the game, Sabre had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
