Titans Top Browns to Even Record

New York registered a win at Polo Grounds II by beating the Brooklyn Browns, 5-2. Pitcher Linus Beausoleil was one reason why the Titans triumphed. The winner was Beausoleil. He threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Ed Terra. Arthur Gordon got the save, his 1st in 1 chances.
New York third baseman DeMario Natividad contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 65th hit of the season and put the Titans ahead, 5-1.
"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Natividad.
The win puts New York at 45-45 this season.
