Great Day for Puga, Hits for Cycle
Requiring speed, power, and regular contact, the cycle is often seen as a test of a complete hitter. For Jose Puga, consider that test passed.

The 23-year-old center fielder hit for the cycle at Mountain Dew Park, to help the Buffalo Rangers triumph, 5-4, over the Denver Glaciers. All told, Puga delivered 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored.

"It feels good of course, but I'm not going to kid anyone -- there's a lot of luck in hitting for the cycle," he said after the game. "Several unique things have to come together all in the same game."
