Carrisalez Now 9-2 After Beating Twins
|
Fans watched the Santiago Avispas and the Cincinnati Twins fight to the finish.
Santiago pitcher Mario Carrisalez did his part in helping his team beat the Cincinnati Twins, 1-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. With the win, Santiago upped its record to 46-46.
Carrisalez confounded Cincinnati hitters. Over 7.2 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Cincinnati manager Ryan Stoops.
