Browns Get One-Run Win at Baltimore
|
The Baltimore Kings got a superb performance from pitcher Arturo Panameno, but the Brooklyn Browns still won the game, 3-2. Panameno threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The triumph puts Brooklyn at 48-44 for the season.
Kadri Dhamo came through with a big-time hit for Brooklyn. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Every loss stings," said Baltimore manager Andrew Schweizer. "This one is no exception."
