Toros Pocket 5-2 Win Against Seattle
The Tucson Toros rode a solid performance from 36-year-old starting pitcher Taxi Sabala to a win, beating the Seattle Arrows, 5-2, at Aetna Stadium. Raul Garibaldi, who finished 5th in the WC in ERA with 2.85 in 2079, nailed down the save. With the victory, the Toros upped their record to 49-43.

In the bottom of the 5th, Tucson took the lead on a 2-run single by Brian Zeeff. At the time, the Toros were trailing 2-1, but Zeeff's hit with two outs against Seattle pitcher Su-shun Nie put them in front, 3-2.

"Every time I step on the mound, I want to go out there and compete and bring my best game," said Sabala.
