The New York Titans got a sterling performance from pitcher Nick Tamulevich, but the Miami Cyclones still prevailed, 5-3. Tamulevich threw 6.0 innings allowing 3 runs. Earl Starr notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 4-1. The victory gives Miami a record of 49-44.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Gurmu Jemadari? The former first round draft pick Jemadari stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Miami up, 4-3. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Nate Beckman.
