Leahy, Senators Wreck Avispas, 10-0
Eddie Leahy was a major contributor to the 10-0 Washington win over Santiago. The Senators catcher belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The victory puts Washington at 37-59.

Ruven Luevano had a big 3-run home run for the Senators in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Washington leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a forkball from 30-year old left-handed pitcher Volk Miller and punished it. The result was his 14th home run of the season, which put the Senators on top, 5-0.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Washington manager Josh Cooan.
