Titans Drop Avispas, 2-0, Behind Erazo
In a low-scoring contest between the New York Titans and the Santiago Avispas, Luis Erazo, who is tied for 7th in the EC in quality starts with 12, proved to be the difference. The New York right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-0 Titans win. Ricardo Alas was credited with the save for New York, his 21st of the season. New York is sailing along at 69-28.

Though he did not get the decision, Erazo did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 6 innings, until New York eventually rallied past the Avispas.

"Luis did a good job mixing and matching," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
