Down to Defeat Goes Cincinnati, 6-3
Boston picked up a win at Arrington Park, bumping off the Cincinnati Twins, 6-3. Pitcher R.J. Mendenhall was a major reason the Greens emerged victorious. Mendenhall picked up the win for Boston, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 7-4. With the win, the Greens improved to 57-41.

Eddie Simon had a big run-scoring double for the Greens in the bottom of the third inning. With Boston leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Arif Kartini and swatted a double to right. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Greens ahead, 2-0.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Simon.
