The Chicago Phantoms went down to defeat to Jesse Collins and his Maine teammates. The final score was 6-2, in favor of the Lobster. Collins, now 6-5, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 7, walking 4, and allowing no runs. The win hiked the Maine record to 51-49.

Keith Cassavaugh had a big 2-run double for the Lobster in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Maine leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a changeup from Ingo Jentzsch, who is tied for 10th in the WC in wins with 8, and swatted a double to right. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lobster ahead, 3-0.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Cassavaugh.
