Multi-HR Day for Galarraga as Gaedels Overpower Harfangs, 11-5
Behind the bravura of designated hitter Marcos Galarraga, the St. Louis Gaedels topped the Montreal Harfangs by the score of 11-5. Galarraga slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Gaedels. St. Louis now owns a record of 52-48.

Luis Nungaray went 1 for 5 with a walk. He scored 2 runs for St. Louis. The 17-year veteran had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jose Santiago. It was his 45th walk of the season.

"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Nungaray said. "And the same is true when you lose."
