Vikings Suffer 7-3 Home Loss
The Denver Glaciers picked up a win at Minneapolis Grounds, knocking off the Minneapolis Vikings, 7-3. On the mound for Denver was right-hander Taxi Sabala. He played a key role in the triumph. The Glaciers now have a record of 52-50 with the win over Minneapolis.

Denver used a well-timed hit by Jason Gonzalez to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Glaciers ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," Sabala told the Denver Times.
