Senators Take Down Browns, 4-3
|
The Washington Senators managed to get by the Brooklyn Browns, 4-3, at The ESPN Zone. Washington pitcher Alberto Zamora set himself apart with his performance. Washington reliever Keung King picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Victor Balaguer was tagged with the loss. The 'W' lifts Washington's record to 55-49.
The Senators procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Sean Culhane. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"This place was rockin'," said Zamora.
