Aquas Deal Metropolitanos 9-6 Defeat
With Matt Szymanski leading the charge, the Houston Aquas defeated the Havana Metropolitanos, 9-6. Szymanski was 1-1 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Aquas. Yes, it was a win for Houston; but their 32-71 mark is nothing to crow about.

Craig Lightsey drove in one run for Houston. The two-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Akorakor Andongwisye. It was his 51st RBI of the season.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Szymanski.
