Twins Curb Browns, 3-2
In a low-scoring affair between the Cincinnati Twins and the Brooklyn Browns, pitcher David Prentice was the difference between victory and defeat. The Cincinnati right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Twins win. Prentice, now 4-10, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Jeremy Tuck earned save number 1 this season.

Remo Donelli had a big run-scoring double for the Twins in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Cincinnati leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a circle change from Keung Fung, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Browns organization, and swatted a double to right. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Twins ahead, 3-0.

Donelli told reporters after the game: "Close wins always feel extra good."

The Twins, at 42-62, sit in last place in the Eastern Conference Kamuzu Division.
